Dr. Jinny Yoon trained at the New York University Medical Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City, completing her residency at the prestigious Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation, where the medical subspecialty of rehabilitation medicine was founded by Dr. Howard Rusk. She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. During her training, Dr. Yoon had extensive experience in performing and reading nerve conduction tests (NCV/EMG). Dr. Yoon is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. To overcome some of the limitations of western medicine, especially in chronic pain, Dr. Yoon did additional training in both the U.S. and China, thus also becoming a certified physician acupuncturist.
